OFF THE GRID

Greece 2014. The financial crisis is full-on. People are looking for support from their social circles, or are moving in with their parents because they can not afford the rent.

Living an autonomous lifestyle, independent from the monetary system is a dream for many. I visited three Projects on three Islands: Ithaka, Evia and Crete, where some people are experimenting with new ways of life.

* I found this to be a very free way of living. Every one's time was their own. The rules that govern the rest of the world had little power here.
